What's against your baby's skin for up to 12 hours a day deserves this level of attention

Hypoallergenic

AFSA-reviewed and approved for babies with eczema, psoriasis, and skin sensitivities. Not a marketing claim, a certification earned over more than a year of independent review.

Breathable

Our backsheet uses micropore technology, thousands of tiny perforations that allow airflow. This is why parents of babies with eczema and asthma specifically choose Eco Nappii. Breathability reduces heat build-up and rash risk.

Soft & Gentle

Our embossed topsheet holds position against baby's skin, reducing friction, reducing leaks, and keeping the surface dry after absorption. Parents report babies sleep better and longer with fewer rash incidents.

Moisture-Wicking

SkyCore™ technology pulls moisture away from the skin and locks it in, so the surface your baby feels stays dry. Up to 12 hours of leak protection. 720ml+ capacity on our biggest nappy.

Free From What Matters

Eco Nappii is made for long stretches, the kind that make nights calmer and days easier.

Most parents tell us they get up to 12 hours and many have shared 14 hours (yes, even overnight).

That’s thanks to our SkyCore™ bamboo + SAP technology designed to lock in wetness, help prevent leaks, and keep baby’s skin feeling dry and comfortable, so you’re not doing unnecessary changes day and night.

Our simple rule of thumb:

  • Poo nappy:* change right away (it’s the best way to prevent irritation).
  • Pee nappy:*change when the yellow wetness indicator turns fully blue

Overnight:
Many parents use one Eco Nappii for the full night. That said, every baby is different some little ones may need a second change depending on their sleep + feeding patterns.

Daytime:
A lot of Eco Nappii parents comfortably stick to a simple rhythm morning and bath time (plus any poo changes in between).

The real difference
Eco Nappii parents often use 2–3 nappies a day, compared to 4–5 or more with many conventional options because when a diaper *actually holds*, you don’t have to keep second-guessing it.

Yes. Eco Nappii is certified by the Allergy Foundation of South Africa, which does not approve products containing fragrance.

Bamboo is naturally hypoallergenic, antibacterial, and breathable, making Eco Nappii ideal for babies with sensitive skin.

We avoid all fragrances for health reasons, because we prioritise baby health and safety above all else.

Eco Nappi’s Organic nappies is South Africa’s first locally owned and reputable eco diaper brand using patented SkyCore™ Technology, made with 100 % bamboo pulp  not wood pulp.

That means:

  • No deforestation and reduced environmental impact
  • Faster absorption with lighter environmental footprint
  • Up to 12 hours of leak-free, rash-free dryness
  • Ultra-soft, buttery texture for superior comfort
  • Fewer changes = less waste
  • Doctor and pediatrician recommended

Locally designed and produced internationally in green-energy, high-tech facilities Eco Nappii is trusted by conscious South African families who care about performance, health, and sustainability.

We currently offer:

  • Single Sprout Pack: 32, 28, 24, or 22 nappies depending on size
  • Mega Master Pack: 4 packs in one (monthly supply)

Note: We no longer sell Double Dynamic Packs. Updated pack details can be added once finalised.

The fit should be snug around the waist and thighs without leaving marks.

Choose based on baby’s weight and build, and size up if leaks occur.

If your baby falls between two sizes, go one size up for added comfort and dryness.

Eco Nappii diapers are made with over 67 % Biodegradable materials an 100% bio-sustainable , making them one of the most sustainable diapers on the market.

Currently, no diaper worldwide is 100 % compostable or recyclable especially in South Africa, where the technology to break down diaper materials under high heat isn’t available yet.

That’s why our focus remains on quality over quantity.

Our business model prioritises performance, transparency, and health, helping parents use fewer, higher-quality nappies that reduce landfill waste.

Each diaper includes a wetness indicator that shows when it’s time for a change, ensuring each one is used to its fullest.

Each Mega Master Box provides roughly a one-month supply of nappies, depending on your baby’s age and routine.

Most families find this covers their monthly needs comfortably, with room for one or two extra packs if their little one goes through more nappies that month.

Eco Nappii nappies are AFSA-approved and doctor-recommended for sensitive skin.

We are building our Eco Nappii Medical Council, a group of healthcare and wellness professionals who guide our ongoing product development to ensure we remain at the forefront of health-first diaper innovation.

We work closely with AFSA and other organisations to prioritise health and improve our formulations based on expert feedback.

Our diapers feature:

  • Over 65 % bio-sustainable composition (made from 67+ eco components)
  • Cruelty-free, never tested on animals
  • Produced in green-energy facilities with transparent, ethical sourcing
  • Designed for comfort, health, transparency, and sustainability — our three core pillars

We understand that parents often ask about price  and it’s an important question. But Eco Nappii isn’t just another nappy brand; it’s a complete rethink of what a healthy, high-performing nappy should be.

Did you know that for more than 84 years, traditional nappy companies have shaped the belief that parents should go through countless nappies every day? That’s the model conventional brands were built on more changes, more sales, more waste.

At Eco Nappii, we’re changing that narrative. We’re re-educating parents and reversing decades of industry conditioning by proving that exceptional performance and sustainability can coexist.

Here’s how we’re different:

  • Performance that lasts – Parents report using only three to four Eco Nappii nappies per day, compared with many more conventional options, because each one can deliver up to 12 hours of dryness.
  • Health and breathability – Our SkyCore™ Technology combines a 100 % bamboo pulp core with a soft, cloth-like inner layer that allows air to circulate, helping prevent rashes, redness, and irritation.
  • Doctor-recommended & AFSA-approved – We work closely with medical experts and the Allergy Foundation of South Africa, ensuring every nappy meets strict health standards for sensitive and problem-prone skin.
  • Cleaner composition – Each nappy is made with over 67 % bio-sustainable materials, and we’re continuously improving this as time goes on.
  • Cruelty-free & ethical – None of our materials or products are tested on animals.
  • Less waste, smaller footprint – By using fewer, higher-performing nappies, families naturally reduce landfill impact without sacrificing comfort or convenience.

For parents, that means fewer changes, cleaner ingredients, happier skin, and a healthier planet.

Eco Nappii isn’t about buying more — it’s about choosing better: better for your baby, better for your wallet, and better for the world they’ll grow up in.

Free from:

  • Chlorine
  • Fragrances
  • Latex
  • Alcohol
  • Parabens

Eco Nappii families have become mindful and consciously aware of every nappy they use. Through education and transparency, we’ve helped families think differently about what they put on their babies — and that awareness extends to other baby products too.

When we say Eco Nappii represents modern baby disposable hygiene solutions, we’re talking about a shift in mindset  from routine consumption to conscious care.

The modern mom and modern family are mindful, educated, and intentional about what they use on their babies. They value performance, health, and the planet equally.

Eco Nappii empowers these families to:

  • Be mindful of every nappy an wipe they use
  • Choose products made from clean, safe, bio-sustainable materials
  • Support brands that prioritise transparency, ethics, and wellness

We stand at the forefront of this movement, setting a new standard for baby hygiene one where parents no longer have to choose between performance and purpose.

That’s what we mean by modern baby hygiene solutions: products created for the consciously aware family, built on health, transparency, and sustainability.

Our signature European T-Shape nappies are currently in production and will be returning very soon. This is the fit you know and love, and once it’s back, we will only be producing the T-Shape going forward. We brought in the S-Shape as a short-term solution so families wouldn’t be left without nappies while production was underway.

The wetness indicator is part of our newer T-Shape design. The current S-Shape nappies are from an earlier version and do not include this feature. While the indicator is helpful, it doesn’t affect absorbency, performance, or safety. The nappy still offers the same leak protection and skin-safe materials.

No. The quality is exactly the same. The S-Shape uses the same premium, AFSA-approved materials, the same clean ingredients, and the same absorbency standards. The only difference is the fit and the absence of the wetness indicator.

We noticed many babies were outgrowing their nappies faster than expected. Rather than leaving families without Eco Nappii while our T-Shape was in production, we released a limited batch of S-Shape diapers as a temporary solution.

Yes. The S-Shape nappies are a limited, once-off batch. Once this stock sells out, we will not be producing this shape again.

Because this is a transition batch, we’re offering it at 40% OFF while our European T-Shape range returns to stock. This discount will not return, as all future production will be our original European T-Shape cut going forward.

We also chose 40% OFF because during our Epic Black Friday 2025, we wanted to welcome new families and give more parents the opportunity to try Eco Nappii. That offer helped 800+ new families join our community — and this limited S-Shape batch continues that same “try Eco Nappii” opportunity for families who’ve been wanting to experience the brand.

No. Going forward, Eco Nappii will exclusively produce our European T-Shape design — the fit we originally launched with and the one families know and love.

Absolutely. All Eco Nappii nappies — including the S-Shape — are AFSA-certified, dermatologically tested, and made with clean, baby-safe materials.

Every baby is unique. Often, a simple size change can make all the difference. If you need help choosing the right size, our team is always here to guide you.

Due to the once-off nature and heavily discounted price of this limited edition, S-Shape nappies are final sale. We encourage checking the size guide carefully before purchasing, and reaching out to us if you’re unsure.

The Eco Nappii Promise

If it touches baby skin, it must pass a health-first lens.
If it cannot be explained clearly, it does not ship.
If it does not perform, it is not enough.
If it is not honest, we do not say it.
If a family cannot afford it, we find a way.

Environmental Facts

The facts the nappy industry prefers you don't see.

  • More than 200,000 trees are cut down every year in nappy production globally

  • It takes more than 500 years for a conventional nappy to decompose in landfill

  • Only 9% of the world's plastics ever get recycled

  • Nappies are one of the leading pollutants in South Africa's rivers and rural communities

  • More than 80% of South Africans use disposable nappies. The conversation cannot be about elimination. It must be about better
